Dear readers, I’d like to take a moment here in my Out&About to acknowledge how much I appreciate you all. As we step into 2026, I want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to you all. Your continued support, encouragement, and loyalty mean more to me than words can fully express. Whether you’ve been reading from the very beginning or joined us along the way, you are the reason this journey has been so rewarding.
Over the past year, your messages, feedback, and engagement have inspired everything we do. You’ve helped shape our content, our direction, and our community, and I’m truly grateful for the trust you place in us.
A new year brings fresh opportunities, new ideas, and exciting moments ahead — and I couldn’t be more excited to share them with you.
I hope 2026 brings you happiness, good health, success, and plenty of reasons to smile. Thank you for being part of this community and for making it such a pleasure to do what I love. I look forward to another great year together with sincere appreciation and best wishes for the year ahead.
I got what I was looking for and that was snow, lots of snow. Now in saying that, we got to much as I live in Long Island, New York and boy did it come down heavy, I should say in buckets. Was it nice to look at? Yes it was, but forget about walking or driving. I’m telling you all that as I am really not complaining as it’s now gone followed by rain and cold weather that nobody wants.
I do hope everyone had a nice Christmas and got all what you needed from Santa Claus whether you’re naughty or nice with gifts and most importantly had family around and meeting your friends and having some cheer and some Santa time that all the kids love very much.
I’m truly looking forward to sharing what’s ahead, building on what we’ve created together, and continuing this journey with you. May the year ahead bring you good health, happiness, inspiration, and plenty of moments worth celebrating. Thank you for being part of it. Here’s to a bright and successful 2026 for us all. I am so excited about the New Year of 2026 coming as I will have a lot of announcements to make and also a bit of gossip just to put a smile on your face.
I did do a bit of a pub crawl over the Christmas holidays and yes, I did have some fun while I was Out&About as I got to meet so many friends that I had not seen for a very long time. This is what I really love about my Out&About because you never know who you could meet.
The sad news is that I lost a couple of friends here in the USA and in Ireland in 2025 as most of them had some health problems, no I am not going to be naming them as it would not be fair to the families as had enough pain at the time.
The Irish Examiner USA is now in its 20th year and yes, it is all thanks to you our readers and most importantly we depend on our sponsors and we thank you all. We do have subscriptions, lots of them but not your name yet and guess what? We don’t charge for them as it’s free to you and everybody else as well no matter where you are in the world.
