the Photography Show returns to New York’s Pier 94 (711 12th Ave.). Running from April 4 to the 7th, the 39th edition of the show features nearly 100 photography galleries showcasing contemporary, modern, and 19th century photographs,as well as photo-based art, video, and new media.

Lectures and panel discussions form The AIPAD Talks segment includes such subjects as Queer Photography after Stonewall, Art and Representation, US/Mexico relations expressed through photography, and a series of discussions with artists. The show also presents a special exhibition called “A Room For Solace: An Exhibition of Domestic Interiors,” presented by Alec Sloth featuring domestic interiors that speak to the possibility of finding refuge during turbulent times.
