This year, they will be honoring art gallery director Emily-Jane Kirwan and her husband, contemporary art appraiser Jay Grimm, and the co-founders of the Golden Trailer Awards, filmmaker Monica Brady and her sister, the commercial producer Evelyn Brady-Watters.
Tickets start at $150 and include a full bar, generous food, and plenty of craic – plus a year-long membership, so you can enjoy over 150 nights of programming and more than 40 classes a week in Irish music, dance, language, and so much more.
As part of their 30th Anniversary Celebration the Irish Rep has created one of their most ambitious projects to date – a full retrospective of the work of master playwright Sean O’Casey!
O’Casey burst onto the Irish literary scene in 1923 with The Shadow of a Gunman – the first of three plays chronicling the birth of modern Ireland from the perspective of Dublin’s poorest residents. Together – these three plays provide a searing, heart-wrenching, and funny perspective on events that still resonate today. They are giving New York audiences an opportunity to view all three of O’Casey’s Dublin Plays, plus readings of all of his other works, beginning this Wednesday with The Shadow of a Gunman. Book now to secure your seats!
