We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing on Monday of one of the great local legends in New York, Danny Moloney, philanthropist and founder of Liffey Van Lines. He always had a job for somebody somewhere if you were Irish and needed some help and just off the boat was the saying. He supported numerous charities all over New York and back in Ireland but he never wanted the acknowledgements for it as he always did it a very quiet way.
