The St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Inc. Board of Directors selected Maggie Timoney from Ballina, County Mayo to be the Grand Marshal of the 2024 New York City St Patrick’s Day parade.
Maggie Timoney is the first female President & CEO of HEINEKEN USA based in White Plains, New York and an alumnus of Iona University in New Rochelle, New York where she played basketball and earned two Degrees. Throughout her career, she has blazed a trail in the traditionally male-dominated beer industry, and today, she is the first woman to serve as chief executive of a major beer company in the United States.
Maggie Timoney will lead St Patrick’s Day marchers up Fifth Avenue on Saturday, March 16, 2024, in the world’s oldest and largest civic parade, the New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
