A header from Shane Duffy in the final five-minutes cancelled out Pierre Emile Hojbjerg\u2019s opener ten-minutes earlier.<\/p>\n

The draw leaves Ireland on seven points, five ahead of Denmark, but a game more played.<\/p>\n

After 20-minutes, Ireland came close to opening the scoring. A free-kick on the left from Conor Hourihane, was met by Shane Duffy at the back post, but the defender was unable to score acrobatically with his back turned to goal,<\/p>\n

Both sides started brightly in the second-half with Denmark\u2019s Yussuf Poulsen coming close twice, and James McClean forcing Kasper Schmeichel into a fine save.<\/p>\n

The opening goal came 15-minutes from time, when substitute Pierre Emile Hojbjerg scored. The striker\u2019s late run into the box, saw him head the ball into the bottom left corner, beating Darren Randolph.<\/p>\n

The visitors silenced the partisan Parken crowd in the final five-minutes when Duffy got on the end of a pinpoint Alan Judge cross to earn a valuable draw.<\/p>\n

Ireland return to action on Monday night against Gibraltar in Aviva Stadium. <\/p>\n
