\"\"Mohamed Salah will miss the second leg of Liverpool\u2019s Champions League semi-final with Barcelona due to a concussion.<\/p>\n

The Egypt forward suffered a head injury in Saturday\u2019s win over Newcastle and manager Jurgen Klopp said at his pre-Barca press conference he would not make the Anfield clash.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a concussion so it\u2019s a case of him not even being allowed to play,\u201d said Klopp, whose side are 3-0 down after last week\u2019s first leg in Spain.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe feels OK but it\u2019s not good enough from a medical point view, that\u2019s all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Klopp had already conceded Salah\u2019s fellow forward, Roberto Firmino, would miss out with a muscle problem.<\/p>\n

Liverpool have it all to do to turn around the tie on Tuesday and Klopp knows the loss of two of his most lethal weapons does not help the cause.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s hope and that\u2019s football,\u201d he added. \u201cWe are far away from giving up.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo of the world\u2019s best strikers are not available tomorrow \u2013 it doesn\u2019t make life any easier but while we have 11 players on the pitch we will try.\u201d<\/p>\n
