If you are down in the Financial District call into the Killarney Rose<\/figcaption><\/figure>It\u2019s all coming fast and furious now! Yes, I am talking about the New York City Saint Patrick\u2019s Day Parade<\/strong> that will be held on Saturday March 16th, that\u2019s right March 16th. The reason for that goes back centuries – the agreement was made with the Catholic Church here in New York that the parade will not happen on a Sunday in order observe the Sabbath. <\/p>\n

The Installation of the 2019 Grand Marshal and Aides for The New York Saint Patrick\u2019s Day Parade<\/strong> takes place on Sunday, February 24 at Antun\u2019s <\/strong>in Queens Village at 3pm so hurry up as there are a few tickets left so. It is great to hear that the Tipperary Knights<\/strong> will be playing during the Saint Patrick\u2019s Day weekend; if you like a few jigs and lots of Irish music get your dancing shoes on. If you are in New Rochelle, The Tipperary Knights will be performing\u00a0on Saturday March 16th and Sunday March 17th at Hurley\u2019s Steakhouse<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

You\u2019ve heard here for the past few weeks about The Shadow of a Gunman<\/strong> playing at The Irish Repertory Theatre<\/strong>. Well, we were right about it as it is a huge hit! If you are down in the Financial District call into the Killarney Rose<\/strong> Irish Tavern (127 Pearl Street; (212) 422-1486) and have a nice pint of Guinness and say hello to the man himself, John Moran<\/strong>, as he is always available to greet you and you can have a nice lunch or dinner. The Killarney Rose has been on Pearl Street for over 50 years; and it still has that touch of Ireland. <\/p>\n
