Casey Soward, Executive Director and Sue Auclair, Director of Marketing & Communications, of The Cabot Performing Arts Center, Inc., have announced that Auclair will be moving on to pursue new opportunities in the New Year.<\/p>\nJ. Along with a dedicated staff and robust community support, Soward and Auclair have led the restoration and revival of the nearly 100-year-old Art Deco venue for the last three years. With major renovations ongoing, the Cabot has brought national and regional acts from multiple musical genres into the theatre, along with childrens’ programs, films and successful fundraisers. During this critical time, audience attendance increased from 2014 – 2017 by 600% and the Cabot has now reclaimed its storied history to become a destination for the performing arts on the North Shore, the Boston area, and beyond.<\/p>\n
“Sue Auclair has done tremendous work to bring high visibility and to help establish The Cabot’s identity as a premiere destination for the performing arts, film, and culture on the North Shore. The Cabot looks very different today than it did when Sue joined the organization three years ago. We will miss her energy and passion and are tremendously grateful for her contributions to our shared success,” said Soward.<\/p>\n
Auclair stated, “I loved working with all of the wonderful artists at The Cabot, not to mention the fine films, children’s programs and special events, over the last three years. In my decades of work in the entertainment industry, bringing The Cabot back to life and building its reputation and branding, was an especially creative labor of love. I wish the Cabot continued success as I embrace new and exciting marketing opportunities, business ventures and the possibility of finishing my autobiography.”<\/p>\n
