Saucy Market Man John Munnelly, who produces the wonderful Hattwood Hot Sauce<\/figcaption><\/figure>I went to watch the UFC<\/strong> fights at Madison Square Garden<\/strong> on Saturday night, and what a thrill it was. It was my first time going to one of these events and it was a full house with not an empty seat to be seen. <\/p>\n

If you ever get a chance, go and see one of those events as you will be on the edge of your seat as they are so exciting. <\/p>\n

Moving on, I have to introduce you to the Saucy Market Man John Munnelly<\/strong>, whose product is called Hattwood Hot Sauce<\/strong>. John is from Cavan and is also a very good musician and plays a lot of Irish events, but his real love is making hot sauce and it can go on all types of food to give it that \u2018whoo\u2019. <\/p>\n

John\u2019s sauce can be got at the Butcher Block<\/strong> in Sunnyside, Queens and he hopes to have it in the major supermarkets very soon. <\/p>\n

I did taste it and it is hot! Go out and request it and remember the name Hattwood; oh. the Cavan boys – you just can\u2019t keep them down. <\/p>\n

Can you believe it we are going be watching hurling at Fenway Park<\/strong> in Boston? Boy, how times have changed and I do mean for the better. The Gaelic Athletic Association<\/strong> (GAA) and the Gaelic Players Association<\/strong> (GPA), in conjunction with Aer Lingus<\/strong> and Fenway Sports Management<\/strong> (FSM) will be presenting the Fenway Hurling Classic 2018<\/strong> which will take place in Boston on November 18th.<\/p>\n

All-Ireland hurling champions Limerick will compete for the Players Champions Cup in a Super 11\u2019s format tournament against reigning holders Clare and new contenders in Cork and Wexford.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Fenway Hurling Classic will involve two semi-finals lasting 40 minutes with the winners proceeding to the final on the same day, Sunday November 18th.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Super 11\u2019s is an 11-aside format of hurling.\u00a0The Fenway Hurling Classic 2018 is a joint initiative by the GAA and GPA to make it easier for the game to travel to pastures new and provide a forum for experimentation and development.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was developed specifically by the GPA in conjunction with the GAA to allow hurling to be played in stadiums all over the world where the pitch size is smaller than a traditional hurling pitch.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event will mark the third time in four years that Super 11s has been played in the iconic Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox.<\/p>\n

Aer Lingus are once again the Official Airline of the event and will be responsible for flying the four teams to Boston.\u00a0Aer Lingus is Ireland\u2019s only 4-Star airline and has been involved in the two previous occasions that hurling has been played at Fenway Park in 2015 and 2017.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The event will begin at 12.30 p.m. ET and it will feature a lively Irish festival complete with food, music and dancing.\u00a0
\nOver 30,000 attended the event in 2017 and tickets are now on sale at\u00a0www.redsox.com\/hurling<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Uachtar\u00e1n CLG, Se\u00e1n \u00d3 h\u00d3r\u00e1in<\/strong> said: \u201cHaving experienced first hand the spectacle that is the Fenway Classic and the hugely entertaining game that is the Super 11s concept, I am pleased that we are returning to Boston with four of our top hurling teams, including All-Ireland champions Limerick and the defending champions from last year\u2019s Fenway competition, Clare.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am also pleased to note the ongoing co-operation between the GAA and GPA in working together to organize the competition and bring some of the best traits of our great game to new audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

GPA Chief Executive Officer, Paul Flynn<\/strong> said: \u201cI am delighted that hurling is returning to Fenway Park. I experienced the games in 2017 as a spectator and found it a thoroughly enjoyable event. We feel proud to showcase the great game of hurling along with our outstanding players in one of the most iconic sports stadiums in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aer Lingus Director of Communications, Ruth Ranson<\/strong> commented: \u201cWe are delighted to have been part of what has turned out to be a huge success story from the beginning and to help bring the country\u2019s leading hurling talent to perform in Ireland\u2019s second capital city \u2013 Boston!\u201d <\/p>\n

The Irish Business Organization<\/strong> will be holding its next event on Wednesday, November 14th. The guest for the evening will be Rob Walsh, special advisor to the Manhattan College President<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
