Happy Saint Valentine\u2019s Day to all our dear readers \u2618 Thank you for your continued support and for being part of our community. On this Saint Valentine\u2019s Day, we\u2019re sending a little Irish warmth your way \u2014 may your hearts be full, your smiles plenty, and your day touched with love and good cheer \u2618\ufe0f\ud83d\udc96. We have a big event, or I should say, a lot of big events coming up especially for the whole Saint Patrick\u2019s Day festivities, ah I\u2019m looking forward to it so much and I am sure you all are as well.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now here is one that is very close to my heart, <\/strong>The Cork Association, yes, I am from Cork City. So here goes, <\/strong>The County Cork BP&P Association of New York would be delighted if you could join them as they celebrate the St. Patrick\u2019s season at their\u00a0<\/strong>141st Annual St. Patrick\u2019s Ball & Dinner Dance taking place on\u00a0Saturday, March 7 at\u00a0<\/strong>Antun\u2019s (96-43 Springfield Blvd., in Queens Village). This special evening will honor their outstanding 2026 Honorees: They are the 2026 Cork Man of the Year\u00a0\u2013 <\/strong>Thomas J. (Tom) Browne, 2026 Cork Woman of the Year\u00a0\u2013 <\/strong>Dr. Keara Browne, 2026 Frank T. Carvill Distinguished Service Award\u00a0\u2013 <\/strong>Kevin J. Healy, and 60 Year Member \u2013 <\/strong>Daniel Cronin. Wow it looks like it\u2019s going to be a bumper evening as you also might not know that County Cork is the biggest in Ireland, now what would the County Cavan people say about that? Well, we always slag each other, that is always lot of fun.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am so sorry that I missed the <\/strong>Queens County St. Patrick\u2019s Day Dinner Gala last Saturday that was held at Antun\u2019s in Queens Village. The snow and ice kept me from going but I so much wanted to be there to congratulate the Grand Marshal, Michele Cusack who I had interviewed the previous week and what a very nice person she is. I am so sorry that I missed it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
