The Great New York State Fair\u2019s \u2018Spring into Summer\u2019 Flash Sale already started on June 20th, so you should start booking your tickets now for one of the greatest fairs in North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the summer solstice past us, The Great New York State Fair is giving fairgoers an opportunity to\u00a0spring into summer\u00a0with a one-day, online-only flash sale, offering admission to this year\u2019s Fair for $6. Tickets for admission to any day of The Fair, which will be limited to four per customer during the flash sale are on sale now. Parking, which is separate from admission, and tickets for the Fair\u2019s famous Midway, operated by Wade Shows, will go on sale in the coming weeks and is not part of the flash sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In all, 10,000 admission tickets will be available as part of the flash sale and must be purchased online by\u00a0visiting The Great New York State Fair\u2019s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and will be sold for a total of $6.28 each, which includes the price of the ticket ($6), ticket fee (.14), and credit card processing fee (.14). This is approximately a $2 savings on the cost of the Fair\u2019s regular admission of $8 per ticket. Admission to The Fair is free for children under 12 and seniors aged 65 and over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re excited for fairgoers to experience new attractions and enjoy their long-time favorites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhether you\u2019re looking to come for one day or our entire 13-day run, The Fair is packed with value and we can\u2019t wait to celebrate the very best of New York!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Great New York State Fair is the most affordable state fair in the country. All concerts and ground entertainment are included in the price of each ticket. Regular admission will go on sale later this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fair starts Wednesday, August 21, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admission to The Great New York State Fair includes access to 39 national recording acts. There will be a daily 1 pm and 6 pm concert at\u00a0Chevy Court\u00a0(located near Gate 1), and a daily 8 pm concert at\u00a0Suburban Park\u00a0(located on the western end of the Fairgrounds, beyond the Midway).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1841, the Great New York State Fair showcases the best of New York agriculture, provides top-quality entertainment, and is a key piece of the state\u2019s\u00a0CNY Rising\u00a0strategy of growing the Central New York economy through tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the oldest fair in the United States and is consistently recognized as being among the top five state fairs in the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New York State Fairgrounds is a 375-acre exhibit and entertainment complex that operates all year. I can only tell you this, that The Great New York State Fair has something for everybody, young and not so young, as you can Twist, Rock, Jive and do some Irish dancing as it has music for all tastes to enjoy, for all ages and with plenty of food vendors as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
