To play for the biggest club in the world with such a history meant a lot to me. I had 4 great years with 4 trophy\u2019s!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to thank you for all the love and support I received and still get. I will never forget some of the special games and moments, I will miss you \u2018The Theatre of Dreams\u2019! But now its time to go home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The deal for the 28-year-old is understood to be worth an initial $18.4m (\u00a314.1m), with add-ons that could see the fee rise to $24.1m (\u00a318.5m).<\/p>\n<p>Ajax marked the signing with a clip of a song to the tune of \u2018Three Lions\u2019 which include the lyrics \u201cDaley\u2019s coming home\u201d, \u201cThree stars on a shirt\u201d and \u201cFrank de Boer still gleaming\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Blind is United\u2019s first major departure of the summer, although Michael Carrick has announced his retirement and taken up a role within Mourinho\u2019s coaching team.<\/p>\n<p>Highly-rated Porto full-back Diogo Dalot, Shakhtar Donetsk\u2019s Brazil international Fred and veteran Stoke goalkeeper Lee Grant have all moved to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<p>United wrote on Twitter: \u201cWe can confirm @BlindDaley has left #MUFC to join Ajax.
