Mauricio Pochettino felt Lionel Messi brought a calmness to Paris St Germain as he made his much-anticipated debut in Sunday\u2019s 2-0 win at Reims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PSG were two goals up by the time Messi was introduced as a 66th-minute substitute for former Barcelona team-mate Neymar, with Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe having netted twice as speculation continues to swirl over his own future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Reims having seen a goal chalked off by VAR, Mbappe added his second three minutes past the hour mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Achraf Hakimi broke forward before sending an inch-perfect pass into the path of the French forward, who tapped it home to double his side\u2019s lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Messi had to wait 10 minutes after coming on for anything resembling a goalscoring opportunity. The 34-year-old drove forward before passing to Mbappe, but the return pass could not find the Argentinian.<\/p>\n
