{"id":14389,"date":"2020-05-05T09:42:38","date_gmt":"2020-05-05T13:42:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/irishexaminerusa.com\/wp\/?p=14389"},"modified":"2020-05-05T09:42:38","modified_gmt":"2020-05-05T13:42:38","slug":"almost-96-of-people-in-ireland-washing-hands-more-often-during-pandemic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irishexaminerusa.com\/wp\/?p=14389","title":{"rendered":"Almost 96% Of People In Ireland Washing Hands More Often During Pandemic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/irishexaminerusa.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/2.51131960.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14390\" srcset=\"https:\/\/irishexaminerusa.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/2.51131960.jpg 600w, https:\/\/irishexaminerusa.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/2.51131960-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>Almost 96% of people in Ireland are washing their hands more often because of concerns over Covid-19, research has found.<\/p>\n<p>Public health experts say that everyone should be regularly washing their hands with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds to help stop the spread of Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>Research carried out by the Department of Health also found that 90% of people say they will continue to wash their hands frequently after the pandemic ends.<\/p>\n<p>Senior government official Liz Canavan said on Tuesday that social distancing and hygiene measures will be a feature in our lives as the country attempts to reopen over the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>She added: \u201cPreventing infection of Covid-19 is now on everyone\u2019s mind.
