The 58-year-old told the Times that families with young children should be waved through airport security because there was \u201cvirtually\u201d zero chance of them being bombers.<\/p>\n
\u201dWho are the bombers? They are going to be single males travelling on their own,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you are travelling with a family of kids, on you go; the chances you are going to blow them all up is zero.\u201d<\/p>\n
He\u2019s being very blinkered and is actually encouraging racism.<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cYou can\u2019t say stuff, because it\u2019s racism, but it will generally be males of a Muslim persuasion. Thirty years ago it was the Irish.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf that is where the threat is coming from, deal with the threat.\u201d<\/p>\n
Labour MP Khalid Mahmood said Mr O\u2019Leary was \u201cencouraging racism\u201d.<\/p>\n

Mr O\u2019Leary\u2019s remarks come the day after a white female Muslim convert admitted plotting a suicide bomb attack on St Paul\u2019s Cathedral in London.<\/p>\n
Safiyya Amira Shaikh, 36, was born Michelle Ramsden but converted to Islam in 2007 and is believed to have become radicalized in 2015 after following extremists online.<\/p>\n
The airline chief is no stranger to controversial remarks \u2013 particularly his murderous intentions towards environmentalists.<\/p>\n
He once said: \u201cThe best thing you can do with environmentalists is shoot them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr O\u2019Leary also believes travel agents deserve the same treatment, saying once: \u201cScrew the travel agents.<\/p>\n
\u201cTake the f***ers out and shoot them. What have they done for passengers over the years?\u201d<\/p>\n
He famously proposed coin-operated toilets on flights and dressed up as the pope to launch Ryanair\u2019s new route from Dublin to Rome.<\/p>\n
