{"id":12969,"date":"2020-02-18T13:39:12","date_gmt":"2020-02-18T17:39:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/irishexaminerusa.com\/wp\/?p=12969"},"modified":"2020-02-20T10:41:30","modified_gmt":"2020-02-20T14:41:30","slug":"henshaw-excited-at-challenge-of-cauldron-like-atmosphere-in-twickenham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irishexaminerusa.com\/wp\/?p=12969","title":{"rendered":"Henshaw Excited at Challenge of Cauldron-Like Atmosphere in Twickenham"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/irishexaminerusa.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/2.50164785.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12970\" srcset=\"https:\/\/irishexaminerusa.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/2.50164785.jpg 600w, https:\/\/irishexaminerusa.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/2.50164785-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>Robbie Henshaw believes Ireland can take confidence into the \u201ccauldron-like atmosphere\u201d of Twickenham having been crowned Grand Slam champions there two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Andy Farrell\u2019s side face a mouth-watering trip to England on Sunday after opening their Guinness Six Nations campaign with successive home victories over Scotland and Wales.<\/p>\n<p>Center Henshaw was part of Joe Schmidt\u2019s Irish squad which completed a tournament clean sweep in 2018 with an impressive 24-15 victory in south-west London.<\/p>\n<p>The 26-year-old admits facing Eddie Jones\u2019 World Cup finalists in their own backyard is a daunting prospect but feels his team can garner belief from their recent memorable success.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a good start for us but we\u2019re well aware of the challenge going to Twickenham, we\u2019ve all played there before and we can expect it to be a hostile environment and a really tough place to go,\u201d Henshaw told a press conference.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut we have that bit of confidence from two years ago that we went there, backs to the wall, and we had the Grand Slam on the line. We\u2019ve pulled up big performances there before.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a cauldron-like atmosphere when you&#8217;re playing there.
