\nOn a brighter note we are giving away four sets of tickets for the Celtic Nights concerts from Ireland that are happening at the Sheen Center on Bleeker Street. \nTalking about theatre, Origin Theatre\u2019s Annual Gala event will be held on Monday, May 14th hosted by Mutual of America (on the 25th floor of 320 Park Avenue). Festive attire is requested, cocktails start at 6.30 pm cocktails with a buffet dinner at 7 pm; now that sounds yum.
\nOrigin\u2019s annual pan-European party features a special Origin showcase, live entertainment and an auction to benefit Origin\u2019s nonprofit theatre program.
\nSpecial awards will be given out on the evening to Ed and Brigid Kenney (Community Leaders award) and Phil Burke will receive the Artistic leader award – now that is well deserved. Congratulations from all of us here at The Irish Examiner.

\nThe IBO\u2019s April 2018 Business Breakfast will present guest speaker\u00a0Paul Pelan,\u00a0Director of Intern Placements at the Irish International Immigrant Center. This event, held at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel (687 Lexington Avenue, between East 56th and 57th Streets) will be held between 7.30 am and 9 am on Tuesday, April 17.
