It came to me from <strong>The Emerald Isle Immigration Center<\/strong> who extended their deepest sympathies to\u00a0their Chair Emeritus <strong>Brian O\u2019Dwyer<\/strong> and the wider O\u2019Dwyer family following the death of his brother, <strong>William \u201cBill\u201d O\u2019Dwyer<\/strong>, who passed away peacefully at his home on August 9, 2026, aged 89.<br>Bill was the eldest son of prominent New York political leader and activist attorney <strong>Paul O\u2019Dwyer<\/strong> and his wife, <strong>Kathleen (Rohan) O\u2019Dwyer<\/strong>. He was born in Brooklyn on December 30, 1936.<br>Our deepest condolences to the O\u2019Dwyer family on the passing of William, RIP, from all of us here at The Irish Examiner USA.
