The Time of Your Life

The other side of desire,
Somewhere toward the end,
Painful human emotions
You will leave wanting much more,
But time moves on, turmoil,
Cutting the stone,
Slicing death from life.

Friend and enemies, social devices,
Unchartered territory, song yet not sung,
Defiance, desire, obsession, on, off
A love life less ordinary,
Can a stranger heal your heart
Obedience, reconciliation, ghosts
Sacred and profane

Long time leaving, distracted, you cannot rewind.
