Thank You Matt And Lucianne
The Drudge Report and lucianne.com as well as a few other Internet Web sites have provided us with an alternative news source and freed us from the machinations of the leftwing media. Let's face the truth: We can no longer rely on mainstream journalists to ask our representatives in Congress and our president the questions that need answering.

Yes, the Drudgereport.com is my home page on my computer and I'm not ashamed to admit it, and if the journalists in the mainstream media were still honest, they'd admit this site is bookmarked on theirs as well.
Matt Drudge has long been vilified as a hack journalist by the elite in the fourth estate, yet they base the majority of their articles on issues he brings to light regardless of their political impact. I once unfairly accused Drudge of being a liberal shill by reporting anti-Bush articles, but what Drudge was doing was merely laying out all the reports for us to decipher and draw our own conclusions.
While I have Drudge on my office desktop, I have lucianne.com as my home page on my laptop. Lucianne Goldberg's popular Internet forum is a necessary Web site for all who want a well-rounded source of news. Articles from respected media sources from around the globe are posted here and registered readers, called Ldotters, are allowed to post their comments and sometimes debunk the article with documented facts. Right, Dan Rather?
Drudge has been the primary source of the volatile Obama health reform town hall meetings, which the mainstream media refuses to report on in an unbiased manner. He posts YouTube videos and on-site witness reports of these contentious gatherings. While the media elite try to portray these protesters as right-wing community organized, we're allowed to judge for ourselves that this is clearly not the case.
Drudge also posts interesting reports on issues that need airing and it was from Drudge that I learned about Barbara Wagner.
Barbara Wagner of Oregon is an unfortunate example of what lies ahead for us if the health reform bills pass. She had been in remission, but her lung cancer returned and the state insurance company refused to pay for the drug that could prolong her life. That drug cost $4,000 a month so what the Oregon Health Plan did agree to cover were drugs for a physician-assisted death. Those drugs would cost about $50. Ultimately, the pharmaceutical company Genentech stepped in and provided Ms. Wagner with the life-saving drug Tarceva free of charge for one year.
When my sister was diagnosed in 1992 with leukemia, she was covered by insurance from her employer. I was shocked at the cost of the interferon that was prescribed by her oncologist but relieved that her Oxford policy paid for this. She passed away in 1997, but if the Obamacare plan had been in place back then, she would have been given palliatives and hospice funding, not the 5 years that extended her precious time with us.
It was also Drudge that allowed me to view the actual police report on the Gates arrest in Cambridge, Mass., which differed considerably with what was being reported by the race-mongering liberal press. Drudge also posted the video of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee rudely talking on her cell phone while a cancer survivor was speaking to her at a town hall meeting.
Again it was Drudge that pointed out many of the frivolous pork projects in the stimulus bill. Would those outrageous private jets recently ordered for Congress have escaped scrutiny had Drudge not brought it to public awareness? Bill O'Reilly may get credit for the stories he airs on the O'Reilly Factor, but I've seen most of them mentioned on Drudge first.
It was on lucianne.com that I learned how the Obama administration was recruiting support for his health plan on craigslist.org. (http://sacramento.craigslist.org/etc/1299049434.html) I suspected that there were leftwing organizations funding disturbances and insurrections at many environmental or political events, but I never dreamt that the White House would stoop to the level of blatantly hiring paid supporters.
Lucianne also displays interesting photos and editorial cartoons that can be very illuminating. One recent eye-catching photo was taken outside the White House after the get-together of the Cambridge arrest-incident participants. The photograph showed the president striding along imperiously while behind him accused "racist" Sgt. Crowley gently assisted Mr. Obama's close friend "Skip" Gates down the stairs.
It was also on a Lucianne post that a YouTube video showed Michele Obama displaying the same lack of concern: escorting Stevie Wonder onto a stage then abandoning him after he fell from the stage so she could rush off to her adoring audience.
Unlike the liberal Huffington Post and the Daily Kos, Lucianne.com has very strict guidelines that do not permit hate speech or obscenities. It is constantly monitored by the "taste police," and many Ldotters are highly respected professionals as well as salt-of-the-earth Americans, many with military backgrounds.
White House press conferences are a joke where softball questions from in-the-camp journalists are the norm.
Why aren't reporters challenging the president when he says that Medicare benefits will not be reduced but that the program will be streamlined to cut costs? Why can't the Social Security Administration simply eliminate waste and duplication? Why do we need new legislation when what we really need is more efficiency?
If the cost of treating the elderly is prohibitive, why not just supply them with specific insurance policies? There are a variety of insurance packages that cover catastrophic illnesses, assisted living, nursing home care, etc. This would be far more cost effective than covering these services through Medicare.
The latest global census information is reporting that for the first time in history, older people will outnumber the young. Why is that so surprising? We have been killing millions of the unborn and future wage earners since 1973 when the Supreme Court decided it was a woman's right to kill her unborn child. The irony is that pro-choice liberals are always so keen on making abortion a civil right, yet they'll gladly trample over seniors' right to choose their own health options. Choice is a relative term for hypocrites.
If you haven't logged on to drudgereport.com or lucianne.com yet, you just aren't getting the truth and nothing but. C
