Roisin Fitzpatrick - Artist of the Light - Exhibits In NYC
Roisin Fitzpatrick - Artist of the Light has launched a solo exhibition at the Ward-Nasse Gallery (178 Prince Street in Soho), for the entire month of May.
The exhibition was officially opened by Mr Niall Burgess, Irish Consul General of New York, from last Saturday.
Roisin Fitzpatrick, contemporary Irish artist, was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1969. Roisin has created a new and innovative art form.
Her art recreates and shares the beauty she discovered during a near death experience.
Her style is a fusion of light, crystal and silk, with light being the true medium of her art. Roisin's art is inspiring and uplifting, particularly during these challenging times.
New York Times bestselling author Marianne Williamson writes "Roisin Fitzpatrick's art has blessed my life, reminding me always of the light inherent in everything."
Dr Christine Ranck who wrote "Ignite the Genius Within" has written "Artists often say they work with light, but Roisin Fitzpatrick does it - literally. She seems to have created a new art form. With thousands of Swarovski crystals in cosmically spiraling designs on pure white silk, highlighted by shifting colored light-beams, she re-creates the light of the universe in her stunningly original vision.
"Viewing her work is indeed an experience. You cannot just passively look-because it seems to literally pull you in with its energy and demand that you respond.
"By capturing the magnitude and power of the universe, she brilliantly makes the link between that which is infinite both inside and outside."
After the phenomenal response from the public at the New York Art Expo, Roisin's solo exhibition in New York City will run for the entire month of May.
