The Irish Repertory Theatre production of The Yeats Project, 26 plays written by the Irish poet and playwright W.B. Yeats, is packing them in and I must say congratulations again to Charlotte Moore and Ciaran O'Reilly for putting on a splendid event that continues until Sunday May 3rd.
Next Sunday, April 26, Scott Mettey will M.C. the first Pub Quiz at PJ Kelly's (341 Railroad Avenue, Peekskill, Westchester County).
The Pub Quiz will be a fun night for everyone, as well as being a fundraiser for the Hudson Valley Irish Festival. The event startswith a 2 for 1 on all drinks from 5.30 to 6.30pm followed by a complimentary buffet for those taking part.

The Eithne and Paddy Fitzpatrick Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, May 18th.
Now in its sixteenth year the tournament will again take place at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Scarborough, New York with celebrity player Christy O'Connor, Jr. in attendance and Ronan Collins of RTE fame acting as the Master of Ceremonies

Kruise for Kids' Hudson River Dinner Dance and Concert Cruise to benefit Project Children is coming up on Wednesday, June 10th.
There'll be a full open bar and hot and cold buffet dinner and, guess what, dessert all for only $100.
You can reserve tables for eight for $1000 and Premium tables of for eight at $1200.
I am also told that you will get to meet Captain Tom Slattery.
Entertainment will be provided on two stages featuring The Cunningham Brothers, Celtic Cross, The Screaming Orphans, the Shay Mac Band and Tom Casey and Friends with lots of raffle prizes.
As I said before, all this is happening on Wednesday ,June 10th with the boat leaving from the Chelsea Piers (Pier 62 on West 23rd Street and 12th Avenue). Boarding at 6pm.

As we are on the subject of The Kruise for Kids, the committee and members of New York County AOH Division 7 are having a Kruise for Kids Party on Wednesday May 6th with live music by Enda Keegan.

The United Restaurant and Tavern Owners are holding their 23rd Annual Golf Outing at Dunwoodie Golf Club in Yonkers on Tuesday, May 19th.
The honorees this year will be Eugene Wilson, partner in Channel 4 Irish Pub and Restaurant who is the "URTO Member Golf Outing Honoree."
The "Industry Golf Outing Honoree" is Ken Glessner, the General Sales Manager for Manhattan Beer Distributers.
From what I have heard Eugene and Ken are over the moon with the honors.
This is going to be an exciting day as you'll get Driving Range access, Golf Cart, Green Fees, Clubhouse, Gratuities, Continental Breakfast, Barbecue Lunch on the Terrace and, of course, Beverages, a Cocktail Reception and Complete Dinner all for only $195 per person.
If you just want to attend the Cocktail Reception and Dinner it's only $125. Now where would yea get a better deal than that? Paul Hurley is giving everything away along with Kathleen Reilly and Maureen the woman that makes it all happen.
